A trip to Slimbridge WWT recently with friends from the
Wildlife Art Society International, brought encounters with
plenty of birds, including this very friendly robin.

He was perching close to the path we were on, and singing
a very low-key spring song - his mate was seen higher in the
same tree, so perhaps they were looking out for a nest site.
