Teaching

I regularly give talks and demonstrations, and teach workshops - to Art Societies and other Groups such as WI.
DEMONSTRATIONS

Demonstration to Banbury

Demonstration in Acrylic to Banbury Art Society

Usually I demonstrate in Pastels, my subject being wildlife or other animals, either as a portrait or in landscape.
Whilst working, I give a light-hearted account of my methods and life as a wildlife artist.
For groups who appreciate more technical information, this can be included in the talk.

Although I prefer to demonstrate in pastels, I can also work in acrylic paints.

WORKSHOPS.

Heart of England Artists

Pastels Workshop for Heart of England Artists

Groups often ask me to come to their Society venue to teach a workshop, for a full or half-day. Complete beginners or regular artists all welcomed.

This can be in a medium such as Pastels, Colour Pencils, Acrylic Paint, or Paper Cutting.

I usually suggest the theme of Animals (Wildlife or Domestic), which can mean concentrating on a portrait, or including landscape.

I can instruct in the technical aspects of the media, and in details of animal art such as how to depict fur, feathers or eyes.

Art Societies and other groups are welcome to contact me for details.
