What's New
Wildlife much more visible at early light.

I was fortunate last month to be able to make my annual autumnal visit to
Scotland and Northumbria.
Staying in remote locations means I am able to watch wildlife fairly easily,
as well as admiring the beautiful autumn colours in the landscape.

As well as many birds, this year I was also lucky enough to spot red squirrels,
roebuck, and red deer, and by putting out my trail camera, found out that
Pine Martens were also visiting the garden overnight and taking the nuts
I had provided, along with several Field mice.

By getting up before dawn most mornings, I was also lucky enough to watch a
beautiful Barn Owl flying over a meadow & landing close by.

All these encounters will undoubtedly feature in future work.
