As usual at this time of year, I recently spent time up in Scotland & Northumberland.
The autumn is my favourite time of year, with such wonderful colour to see in the trees,
and much of the wildlife is usually easy to spot as well.
The weather was getting chillier, and things were winding down for winter, with
morning mists and night-time frosts.
On this occasion I was able to observe several blackbirds feeding up on bright berries,
and this behaviour, as well as the contrasting colours, will be used in future work.
